Colorado state-approved injectable training: a group class or private course
Tox and dermal filler training for licensed clinicians in Castle Rock, taught hands-on by Jenny Garland, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. Train in a small group of four or fewer, or one-on-one, on a schedule set around you.
Approved and Regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Private Occupational School Board.
Confidence comes from understanding the face, then practicing under a watchful eye.
Each course pairs structured instruction in anatomy and assessment with supervised injection, so you leave knowing not only where to inject, but why.
Anatomy first
Facial anatomy, patient assessment, dosing and complication management form the core of every course.
Hands-on, supervised
You observe live treatments, then inject model patients with one-on-one, mentored instruction.
Group class or private course
Train in a small group of no more than four students, or one-on-one, with room for your questions and individual feedback.

Questions about Colorado state-approved injectable training
Is this training state-approved?
Yes. The Academy of Facial Aesthetics is Approved and Regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Private Occupational School Board. This means the Academy is a private occupational school approved by the State of Colorado to offer this training, with its curriculum, instructors, facility and student policies reviewed by the state.
Who can enroll?
Licensed professionals with an active Colorado license as a registered nurse (RN), nurse practitioner (NP), physician associate (PA), medical doctor (MD), doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) or licensed esthetician (LE). Progressions courses also require at least six months of injecting experience.
I have never injected. Where should I start?
Start with Tox Foundations or Filler Foundations. Both are designed for clinicians with no prior injecting experience. Progressions courses require at least six months of injecting experience.
Can I take a group class or a private course?
Both. Sessions are scheduled on demand, so you can train in a small group class of up to four students or in a private course. Private and small-group training is available; ask us for pricing.
How are sessions scheduled?
There are no fixed class dates. Sessions are scheduled on demand: after you enroll, Jenny emails you to find days and times that suit you and confirms your session by email. Where we can, students are grouped into one session, never more than four.
Are the courses hands-on?
Yes. Every in-person course includes supervised, hands-on injection with model patients as part of the approved curriculum.
Do I need to bring my own models?
Yes. Students bring their own model patients for every course; the School does not provide models. Model eligibility, scheduling and documentation instructions are sent after enrollment and before your session. Models pay for the product used during training, priced by the School and payable at the time of service.
What is included, and what should I bring?
All required materials are provided by the School, including an Academy reference manual. We’ll send a what-to-bring list with your enrollment confirmation.
How do I earn the certificate?
Attend at least 90% of the course hours and pass the written test with a score of 75% or higher. Students who meet both requirements receive a Certificate of Completion. If you need a second attempt, one-on-one review with the instructor is offered immediately after the course.
How do I enroll?
Select Enroll now on this page to register and sign your Enrollment Agreement in SignNow. After you sign, you are taken to a secure Stripe payment page to pay your tuition. Jenny confirms your eligibility and emails you to confirm your class date, which is reserved once tuition is paid. Enrollment is accepted up to seven days before your session begins, pending space. Payment in full is due 7 days before the first day of class.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Credit card, debit card and bank transfer (ACH). After you sign your Enrollment Agreement, you pay on Stripe’s secure payment page. Tuition is $1,850 per course, or $3,500 when you enroll in any two courses together. Tuition is the same whether you pay by credit card, debit card or bank transfer (ACH).
Is payment secure?
Yes. You pay on Stripe’s secure, encrypted payment page, not through Ember Medical Group’s website checkout. The payment page opens on Stripe’s own web address, which is normal and secure. Look for the lock icon in your browser and the Jasper Medical Services name on the payment page.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
“The student may cancel this contract in writing via email at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after signing this contract except if the course has already begun. After the 3-business-day cancellation period and prior to the start of the program, the School will retain a $150 cancellation charge from tuition paid; this is not an additional fee.” After training begins, refunds follow the refund table in the Enrollment Agreement and Course Catalog: within the first 10% of in-person course hours, 90% less a $150 cancellation charge; after 10% but within 25%, 75% less $150; after 25% but within 50%, 50% less $150; after 50% but within 75%, 25% less $150; after 75%, no refund. “All refunds will be made within 30 days from the date of termination.” A two-course bundle is one enrollment, so a single $150 cancellation charge applies to the bundle. Read the full policy in the Course Catalog and Enrollment Agreement before you enroll.
Where is training held?
All courses take place at 3855 Ambrosia Street, Suite 201, Castle Rock, CO 80109. Your arrival time is included with your session confirmation; please arrive 15 minutes early. Park behind the building next to the Sherwin-Williams building, enter through Door E and take the elevator to the second floor.
How large are the classes?
Each in-person session is limited to four students, so you have time with the instructor at every step.
Does completion allow me to practice independently?
No. Course completion provides education and training only. You remain responsible for practicing within your scope, supervision arrangements and applicable regulations.
